Training

The continual professional training represents a good starting point for a proper management of natural protected areas; in fact, knowledge allows to evaluate the eco-system conditions in order to use the right protective measures. These measures include the protection of sea beds through the reduction of the negative impact that pleasure boats have on them, and the regulation of game and professional fishing in the area.

The Marine Protected Area is a branch office of the University of Teramo from 2008 with a Master course in “Local Development of Natural Areas Studies”(GeSLoPAN Master Degree).
